In 1956, when gumballs were just a penny and sold in machines in ever grocery store, gas station, and five and dime store in town, Dennis and James Sheehan decided that filling and servicing those machines might be a great way to supplement their salaries. They didn't have any big plans...just an "after work" endeavor that they could easily handle and enjoy. Little did they know that their efforts would turn into a successful full-time vending and catering operation.
Since that modest beginning, Sheehan Brothers Vending has outgrown two locations, and built a modern facility complete with offices, commissary, and warehouse. Two decades ago, our motto "we automatically please" concerned only a handful of customers. Today it applies to an ever increasing list of industries, hospitals, schools, and individuals over a 15 county area. Consequently, our once two man operation now requires over 50 employees.
At Sheehan Brothers, we pride ourselves on our ability to give each account, regardless of size, our personal attention. We feel that our decision to remain locally owned and independent has insured this personal attention.
